Russia and Ukraine have agreed not to disclose the number of people evacuated from Oleshky, a Russian-controlled town in Ukraine’s Kherson region, Ukrainian Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets said on Monday, according to Anadolu Agency.
Speaking at a news conference in Kyiv, Lubinets said 105 pets were evacuated, including dogs, cats and four parrots.
He said Russia had not moved military equipment for military purposes during the ceasefire.
“In a video released online, Russian equipment marked with red crosses is clearing mines on the approaches to Oleshky under the control of the Ukrainian side,” he said.
The Kremlin said on Oct. 27 that a US-mediated humanitarian operation had begun in the Oleshky area and that a temporary “silence regime” had been introduced on the Kherson front for the operation.
