President Ilham Aliyev has attended the inauguration of the new administrative building of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, Central Bank Governor Taleh Kazimov briefed the head of state on the conditions created within the new facility.

Located on Heydar Aliyev Avenue in the capital, the 35-story building was constructed in accordance with modern urban planning principles, emphasizing high functionality and advanced technological standards. During the visit, President Ilham Aliyev toured an exhibition showcasing the conceptual approach, design features, and technological evolution of national currency notes, detailing their history and security elements.

The new headquarters provides workspace for 1,300 employees and includes extensive conference facilities, press halls, and various training rooms. Special attention was paid to accessibility and inclusivity during the design phase, ensuring that the infrastructure allows for safe and independent movement for individuals with physical disabilities.

The facility features 25 rooms dedicated to official meetings and gatherings, all equipped with necessary modern technology. To support employee well-being, the building includes a dedicated recreation area and a 340-seat cafeteria. Additionally, a 240-seat conference hall is available for events and presentations.

The building's exterior is equipped with a multimedia facade system that allows for various lighting scenarios and projections. The site utilizes motion-sensor LED technology for both interior and exterior lighting, significantly enhancing energy efficiency during daylight hours. This new administrative center represents a significant milestone in the modernization of Azerbaijan's financial infrastructure, reflecting the country's ongoing commitment to digital transformation and sustainable development in its banking sector.
