Maintenance and reconstruction work will be carried out on October 8 in parts of the capital and Absheron District to improve electricity supply quality and meet growing demand.
"Operative Information Center-OMM" reports that Azerishiq OJSC announced the work.
The company said repairs at a transformer substation in the service area of the Yasamal District Energy Supply and Sales Department will restrict electricity supply from 10:00 to 13:00 on Abbas Mirza Sharifzadeh, Dadash Bunyadzadeh, Mirali Seyidov, Nazim Hikmat and Taghi Shahbazi streets, as well as part of Inshaatchilar Avenue.
During installation of a new modular transformer substation, brief power interruptions are expected from 11:00 to 16:00 in parts of Badamdar Highway and at lane 2 of residential area No. 2, within the service area of the Sabail District Energy Supply and Sales Department.
Wires on the double-circuit 6 kV Binagadi-1 and Binagadi-2 overhead lines, supplied by the 110/35/6 kV ETK-4 substation, will be replaced in the service area of the Bilajari Energy Supply and Sales Department. Electricity supply will be restricted from 10:00 to 16:00 on 10 May Street and in several parts of the Binagadi village settlement during the reconstruction work.
Scheduled repairs at the 110/35/10 kV Masazir substation, within the service area of the Absheron District Energy Supply and Sales Department, will cause an outage from 10:00 to 15:00 on Absheron, Agakhan Abdullayev, Akim Abbasov, Ali Mustafayev, Ilyas Bayramov, Istiglal iyyat, Gazanfar Alizadeh, Mirvari Dilbazi, Mubariz Ibrahimov, Rashad Huseynov, Rizvan Hashimov, Shikhali Gurbanov and Turgud Khalilbeyli streets in the district.
Once the work is complete, subscribers in the affected areas will receive higher-quality and more reliable electricity supply.
