Power cuts in parts of Baku’s Khatai and Binagadi on October 9

Electricity supplies will be temporarily restricted in several areas of Baku due to maintenance and reconstruction work on October 9.

Azərişıq OJSC announced the work, Operative Information Center-OMM reported.

To improve power supply quality and meet rising demand, crews will carry out maintenance at a 10/0.4 kV transformer substation in Khatai district and reconstruction work on the 6 kV Masazir-1 and Masazir-2 overhead lines in Binagadi.

In the service area of the Khatai District Energy Supply and Sales Department, electricity will be restricted from 10:00 to 15:00 on part of Ganja Avenue and around School No. 191.

In the area served by the Bilajari Energy Supply and Sales Department, there will be a brief interruption from 11:00 to 16:00 on 10 May Street and the lower section of the Khirdalan-Binagadi road.

After the work is completed, customers in the affected areas will receive a higher-quality and more reliable electricity supply.
