Electricity supply will be temporarily restricted today in some areas of Baku’s Yasamal and Nizami districts due to maintenance and inspection work.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that Azerishiq OJSC issued the statement.
The company said maintenance and inspection work would be carried out at several transformer substations in the districts to improve the quality of electricity supply and meet growing demand.
In the service area of the Yasamal District Energy Supply and Sales Department, electricity will be restricted from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Arif Mehdiyev, Asad Ahmadov and Zahid Khalilov streets, as well as on parts of Huseyn Javid Avenue and Matbuat Avenue.
Electricity supply will be temporarily suspended from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in some areas of Babek Avenue and the First and Fourth Kondalan streets in the Kishla settlement, which fall within the service area of the Nizami District Energy Supply and Sales Department.
Once the work is completed, residents in the affected areas are expected to receive higher-quality and more reliable electricity. Scheduled maintenance of transformer substations is aimed at improving supply indicators and supporting the stable operation of Baku’s electricity network.
