Some areas of Baku’s Yasamal district will experience a temporary interruption to their electricity supply on October 12.
The Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the information was provided by Azerishiq OJSC.
The company said repairs will be carried out at a transformer substation in the area served by the Yasamal District Energy Supply and Sales Department. The work aims to improve electricity supply quality and meet rising demand.
From 10:00 to 13:00, supply will be restricted in parts of Abbas Mirza Sharifzadeh, E. Agayev, A. Ahmadov, Vasif Aliyev and Mehman Bunyadzade streets. Once repairs are complete, the quality of electricity supply in the affected areas is expected to improve.
Scheduled maintenance is a routine measure used to maintain and upgrade electricity distribution infrastructure as demand grows.
