Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said his first participation in a Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) summit as an invited special guest offered a unique opportunity to expand multifaceted cooperation with member states.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports, citing the IRNA news agency in Tehran, that Pezeshkian underscored Iran’s strategic role as a transit and logistics hub connecting Central Asia and Eurasia with the world’s oceans and open waters.
The president said Tehran was ready to act as a key partner in ensuring the full operation of regional transport corridors, including the International North-South Transport Corridor, and in providing countries in the CIS region with access to global markets.
