Pakistan İrana qarşı sanksiyalara qoşulmayacaq

Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson Tahir Andrabi has announced that his country will not comply with unilateral sanctions imposed against Iran.

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, Andrabi stated that Pakistan intends to continue its bilateral trade relations with Tehran in strict adherence to international legal norms.

The spokesperson emphasized that Pakistan's foreign policy is independent, and Islamabad is under no obligation to adhere to unilateral restrictions imposed by third parties. Andrabi further reiterated the country's commitment to maintaining and strengthening economic and trade ties with its neighbor.

This statement is viewed as a clear indication of Islamabad's intent to preserve cooperation with Tehran and mitigate the impact of unilateral sanctions on their bilateral economic relations. Pakistan and Iran share a significant border and have historically maintained complex but essential diplomatic and economic channels, which remain critical for regional stability and energy cooperation.
