Pakistan has successfully conducted a flight test of the indigenously developed Fatah-2 multi-launch rocket system, which boasts a range of 400 kilometers. The test marks a significant milestone in the country's efforts to modernize its long-range artillery capabilities and strengthen its national defense infrastructure.

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the public relations wing of the Pakistan Armed Forces confirmed the successful launch. The military stated that the system is equipped with advanced avionics and state-of-the-art navigation systems designed to enhance the combat effectiveness of the country's rocket forces. "Various technical parameters and features of several subsystems incorporated to increase accuracy and survivability were verified during the test," the official statement added.

The Fatah-2 system represents a major advancement in Pakistan's defense industry, providing the military with the ability to engage targets deep within enemy territory with high precision. This development is part of Islamabad's broader strategy to maintain a credible minimum deterrence and balance of power in the South Asian region. Pakistan has been steadily upgrading its missile and rocket technology in recent years, focusing on domestic production and technological self-reliance to meet evolving security challenges.
