Montenegrin President Jakov Milatović is scheduled to pay an official visit to Azerbaijan by the end of this year. The visit aims to further strengthen bilateral ties and explore new avenues for cooperation between the two nations.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, this announcement was conveyed in a congratulatory letter sent by President Milatović to President Ilham Aliyev on the occasion of May 28 – Independence Day of the Republic of Azerbaijan. "I look forward to paying an official visit to your country at the end of this year. During this visit, we will have the opportunity to exchange views on future directions for the development of our interstate relations through direct communication," the Montenegrin President emphasized.
Azerbaijan and Montenegro have maintained friendly diplomatic relations, with both nations actively seeking to deepen cooperation in sectors such as energy, tourism, and infrastructure. High-level visits serve as a cornerstone for these diplomatic efforts, allowing leaders to align strategic interests and enhance the political dialogue between Baku and Podgorica.
