Former Türkiye and Beşiktaş player Metin Tekin has shared his views on Galatasaray midfielder İlkay Gündoğan.
Tekin also named Aleksey Batrakov, who plays for Russia’s Lokomotiv, as an alternative option in that position.
“If it does not work out, Batrakov will play in this position,” Metin Tekin said.
Gündoğan joined Galatasaray after establishing himself as an experienced midfielder at the highest level of European football. Batrakov, meanwhile, represents a younger alternative currently playing in the Russian Premier League.
