Leyla Aliyeva, Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and founder and head of the IDEA Public Union, participated in the opening ceremony of the new building for Secondary School No. 5 named after Samad Vurgun during her visit to the city of Yevlakh.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev briefed Leyla Aliyeva on the school's history, the conditions created within the facility, and the educational opportunities available to students.
It was noted that the construction of the new school building commenced in January 2024 following the demolition of the previous administrative structure. The new facility, designed to accommodate 528 students, meets modern educational standards and provides a comprehensive learning environment.
During her visit, Leyla Aliyeva inspected the school's library, informatics, biology, and chemistry laboratories, as well as technology classrooms, preschool preparation rooms, the cafeteria, and the gymnasium. The modern infrastructure is expected to significantly enhance the quality of education, foster student development, and improve teaching efficiency.
The Heydar Aliyev Foundation, led by First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva, plays a pivotal role in the modernization of Azerbaijan's educational infrastructure. Through its various initiatives, the Foundation consistently supports the construction and renovation of schools across the country, ensuring that students in regions like Yevlakh have access to high-quality learning environments equipped with the latest technology.
