A Palestinian was killed and seven others were injured in an Israeli strike in southern Gaza on Tuesday, according to a medical source cited by Anadolu Agency.
The source at Kuwait Hospital in Khan Younis said the casualties resulted from a strike west of the city. Witnesses told Anadolu Agency that the attack hit a gathering of Palestinians outside the gate of the University College in al-Mawasi, west of Khan Younis.
The strike was the latest reported violation of the ceasefire agreement, which came into effect on October 10, 2025.
At least 1,593 Palestinians have been killed and 5,748 injured by Israeli fire since the ceasefire began, according to Gaza’s government media office.
The ceasefire was reached after two years of war that, since October 2023, has killed more than 74,000 Palestinians and injured over 175,000 others.
