Fake campaigns have been circulating on WhatsApp ahead of Victory Day.
“Operative Information Center-OMM” reports that the National Cybersecurity Agency (MKA) issued the warning.
Messages containing malicious links are being sent to users via the platform, claiming that a 100 AZN cash award will be granted in the name of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The MKA advises citizens to be cautious when they receive suspicious messages or links in the name of government agencies and officials, and to verify information through official sources.
Anyone who encounters such messages is asked to report them through the agency’s official website, www.nca.az.
