Developments in Iran are also affecting Azerbaijan and Türkiye.
"Operative Information Center-OMM" reports that Türkiye’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan made the remarks at a joint news briefing with his Azerbaijani counterpart, Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, in Baku.
Fidan said Türkiye supported resolving the developments in Iran through diplomatic means.
"Contacts with all sides are continuing to resolve the crisis and ensure peace in the region," he said.
Iran’s domestic and regional developments are closely watched by neighboring countries because of their potential impact on security, trade and cross-border relations. Diplomatic engagement is generally viewed as a means of reducing tensions and preventing further escalation in the region.
