Foreign ministries congratulate Azerbaijan on Independence Day

The foreign ministries of Ukraine, Egypt, Greece, and Jordan have extended their official congratulations to the government and people of Azerbaijan on the occasion of the country's Independence Day.

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, these diplomatic greetings were shared via the social media platform "X".

The Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its sincere congratulations to Azerbaijan, emphasizing its hope for the continued strengthening of friendship and cooperation between the two nations. "Egypt conveys its sincere congratulations to the government and people of friendly Azerbaijan on the occasion of Independence Day and hopes for the further consolidation of relations and cooperation between our countries," the statement read.

The Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs also joined in the celebrations, stating: "Happy Independence Day, Azerbaijan!" Similarly, the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs noted: "We congratulate the Republic of Azerbaijan on the occasion of Independence Day."

The Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs highlighted the strong ties between the two nations, referring to Azerbaijan as a "reliable friend and strategic partner."

"We extend our most sincere congratulations to our reliable friend and strategic partner, Azerbaijan, on the occasion of the country's Independence Day! We highly value Azerbaijan's support and solidarity with Ukraine, as well as the humanitarian aid provided to our country. We look forward to the continued positive dynamics of our bilateral relations and cooperation in all spheres," the statement concluded.

Independence Day in Azerbaijan is a significant national holiday commemorating the restoration of the country's state independence. It serves as a moment for the nation to reflect on its sovereignty and strengthen diplomatic ties with international partners through mutual expressions of goodwill and cooperation.
