Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has commented on his planned visit to Azerbaijan for Victory Day on November 8.
“Operative Information Center-OMM” reports that the Turkish leader made the remarks in comments to local media.
“Unless an emergency arises, I plan to visit Azerbaijan on November 8. God willing, we will also have the opportunity to take the necessary steps through this visit,” he said.
Erdogan also recalled his phone conversation with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
“As I have always said, our relations with Azerbaijan go beyond classic diplomatic contacts. The unbreakable bond between the two countries is the product of our shared history, culture, destiny and future. There is no obstacle that the brotherhood between Türkiye and Azerbaijan cannot overcome,” Erdogan said.
