Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met with American experts and analysts in New York during his visit to the United States for the 81st session of the United Nations (UN) General Assembly.
Operative Information Center-OMM reported that the roundtable, organized by the Foundation for Political, Economic and Social Research (SETA), was held behind closed doors.
The discussions reportedly focused on bilateral relations between Türkiye and the United States, the current geopolitical situation in the Middle East, and regional and global security issues.
The UN General Assembly brings together representatives of the organization’s member states each year in New York to discuss international political, economic and security matters. Meetings with think tanks and policy experts are commonly held on the sidelines of the high-level session to exchange views on regional and global developments.
