An earthquake with a magnitude of 3.2 was recorded in the Jalilabad district of Azerbaijan.
According to the Earthquake Research Bureau of the Republican Seismic Survey Center, which reported the incident to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the seismic event occurred at 07:52 local time. The epicenter of the underground tremors was located at a depth of 28 kilometers, and the earthquake was not felt by residents.
Azerbaijan is situated in an active seismic zone, with various regions, including the southern areas, occasionally experiencing minor tremors. The Republican Seismic Survey Center continuously monitors seismic activity across the country to ensure public safety and infrastructure resilience.
