Two girls inside a vehicle were killed after a Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle struck the car at an intersection in Nizhnekamsk, Russia.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that Nizhnekamsk Mayor Radmir Belyayev announced the incident.
According to the report, two other people were injured in the strike and hospitalized in serious condition.
The incident occurred on September 13.
Nizhnekamsk is a city in Russia’s Republic of Tatarstan and is home to major industrial and petrochemical facilities. Drone attacks have periodically targeted Russian regions since the start of the Russia-Ukraine war, with local authorities often reporting casualties and damage.
