A fatal traffic accident has occurred in the city of Lankaran, Azerbaijan.
According to Operative Information Center-OMM, the incident was recorded on Molla Panah Vagif Street in the city.
Preliminary reports indicate that a 57-year-old local resident, Vuqar Naghirov, suffered a sudden and fatal heart attack while driving. Following the medical emergency, the vehicle lost control and crashed into a commercial facility located on the roadside. Law enforcement officers and an emergency medical team were immediately dispatched to the scene, where doctors confirmed the driver's death.
An investigation has been launched by local law enforcement agencies to determine the precise circumstances of the incident. Road safety and emergency response protocols in Lankaran, located in the southern region of Azerbaijan, are closely monitored by regional divisions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to ensure public safety and rapid response to such emergencies.
