Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk has arrived in Kyiv for an official visit to discuss bilateral cooperation and the future reconstruction of Ukraine.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports, citing foreign media, that Tusk is accompanied by Minister of Finance and Economy Andrzej Domanski during the high-level visit.

"We hope that after the early end of the war, or at least a ceasefire, we can start a large-scale program for the reconstruction of Ukraine. This also means more investment, more resources, and more initiatives," Tusk stated regarding the mission's objectives. It was further noted that Domanski and his team are currently organizing a global conference dedicated to Ukraine's recovery, which is scheduled to take place in Gdansk this June.

The visit underscores Poland's role as a key strategic partner for Ukraine amid the ongoing regional conflict. Since the beginning of the crisis, Poland has served as a primary hub for international aid and a vocal advocate for Ukrainian integration into European structures. The upcoming Gdansk conference is expected to bring together international investors and policymakers to establish a concrete framework for post-war economic revitalization and infrastructure development.
