Barcelona plans to complain to UEFA after losing 2-4 to PSG in the third round of the league phase of the 2026/2027 Champions League season. The move follows a banner displayed by Paris club supporters in the stands before the match, Sport.es reported.
The Catalan club considered the banner, which depicted Leatherface from the film “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre,” inappropriate. PSG fans showed the character wearing the club’s kit and holding a chainsaw as he cut the Barcelona logo. The banner read: “Massacre in the Paris style.”
Desire Doue opened the scoring in the 38th minute. Xavi Espart equalised in the 55th minute, and Lucas Hernandez put PSG back in front in the 72nd. Lamine Yamal made it 2-2 in the 79th minute. Vitinha scored in the 81st minute and Fabian Ruiz in the 86th to seal the Paris club’s win.
