Weather conditions expected in Azerbaijan on October 22 have been announced. Some regions may see heavy rain, thunderstorms and hail, while snow is possible in high mountain areas.
“Operative Information Center-OMM” reports that the National Hydrometeorological Service issued the forecast.
In Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, skies will be partly cloudy and occasionally overcast. The weather is expected to remain mostly dry during the day, although brief showers are possible in some areas in the evening. Northeasterly winds will blow.
Temperatures will be 16-18 degrees Celsius overnight and 20-24 degrees during the day. Atmospheric pressure will be 766 mm of mercury, and relative humidity will be 65-75%.
Heavy rain and hail possible in the regions
Intermittent rain is expected in some parts of Azerbaijan’s regions. Precipitation may be intense, with heavy downpours in isolated areas. Thunderstorms and hail are possible, while high mountain areas may see snow.
Fog is expected in some places overnight and in the morning. Moderate easterly winds will blow.
Temperatures will be 14-17 degrees Celsius overnight and 20-25 degrees during the day. In mountainous areas, temperatures will range from 7-12 degrees overnight to 12-17 degrees during the day.
