The Hunting Coordination Council has held its next meeting and decided to open the hunting season on October 10.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that Rashad Allahverdiyev, an official with the Biodiversity Conservation Service, provided the information.
He said people wishing to hunt can find details on permitted hunting periods and quotas for wild animals and birds on the “Announcements” section of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources’ official website, eco.gov.az.
“Hunting enthusiasts are urged to comply with the applicable hunting regulations and to use only hunting farms and areas designated for hunting,” the official said.
Hunting seasons and quotas are set to regulate the taking of wildlife and support the conservation of biodiversity. Hunters should check the ministry’s published information for the applicable rules before heading out.
