Average annual inflation in Azerbaijan is projected to gradually decrease through 2030, according to official government forecasts.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that this outlook was detailed in the Medium-Term Budget Framework for 2027-2030 released by the Ministry of Finance. According to the base case scenario provided by the Ministry of Economy, the average annual inflation rate, which is projected at 5.5% for the current year, is expected to decline steadily to reach 4.6% by 2030.
The stabilization of inflationary pressures is a key component of Azerbaijan's broader economic strategy to ensure long-term fiscal sustainability. These projections align with the government's efforts to diversify the national economy and strengthen the non-oil sector, while the Cabinet of Ministers continues to implement measures aimed at maintaining macroeconomic stability and protecting the purchasing power of the national currency.
