Azerbaijani government agencies in Baku to work remotely during Formula 1

State agencies located in Government House in Baku will switch to remote work from Sept. 23 because of the Formula 1 race.

Operative Information Center-OMM, citing “Report,” reports that the remote work arrangement will continue until Sept. 28.

The measure is linked to the Formula 1 circuit passing through the area.

The Azerbaijan Grand Prix will take place on Sept. 24-26.

Formula 1 is an international single-seater motor racing championship, and the Azerbaijan Grand Prix is held on the street circuit in Baku. Temporary road closures and traffic restrictions are typically introduced around the circuit during the event.
