The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) has revoked the licenses of two non-bank credit institutions (NBCIs).
Operative Information Center-OMM reports this, citing the CBA.
According to the information, under Article 25 of the Law on Non-Bank Credit Institutions, the CBA Board revoked the license issued to T-Kredit LLC NBCI on July 28, 2026, under number BKT-51. The decision followed an application submitted by the institution and was adopted on September 29, 2026.
By the same decision, the Board also revoked the license issued to Fintrend LLC NBCI on June 5, 2014, under number BKT-24. The CBA said the action was taken under Article 25 of the law because the institution had failed to comply with prudential requirements and submitted distorted reports to the regulator.
Under the law, an NBCI must cease operations from the date a decision to revoke its license takes effect and be liquidated in accordance with the Civil Code.
The number of NBCIs operating in Azerbaijan has consequently fallen to 51.
