The number of suburban train services in Azerbaijan will be increased again to meet passenger demand.
According to Azerbaijan Railways CJSC, as reported to "Operative Information Center-OMM", the daily number of weekday suburban train services will rise from 96 to 100 under the revised timetable starting Sept. 17.
Two additional services will be added to the Sumgait–Pirshagi–Baku route, departing at 05:55 and 11:50.
Additional trains will also operate on the Baku–Pirshagi–Sumgait route at 06:46 and 10:45.
Passengers can view the updated timetable through the official resources of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC.
Suburban rail services connect Baku with nearby settlements and are widely used for daily commuting. Timetable adjustments are intended to accommodate changes in passenger demand and improve transport links between the capital and surrounding areas.
