Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) has officially resumed its flight operations on the Baku–Nakhchivan route, with services now operating according to the established schedule.
This information was confirmed to the Operative Information Center-OMM by representatives from AZAL. The airline stated that following the stabilization of weather conditions in the region, flights along this critical domestic route have returned to normal operations.
The Baku–Nakhchivan air corridor serves as a vital transportation link for the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, which is geographically separated from the main territory of Azerbaijan. Ensuring consistent air connectivity is a priority for the government, as it facilitates the movement of passengers and essential goods between the capital and the exclave, especially during periods when alternative transit routes may be limited.
