At least two people were killed in strikes carried out by Ukrainian drones on Russia’s Tula region, the region’s Governor Dmitry Milyayev said.
According to him, three more people were injured in the attacks. Milyayev said 26 drones had been destroyed over the region overnight.
Eight people injured in Kyiv
The number of people injured in Russian airstrikes on Kyiv on Friday morning has risen to eight. According to the city administration, the strikes caused a fire in a nine-story residential building.
Before the attack, residents were urged to go to shelters because of the drone threat. Firefighters worked to deal with the aftermath of the incident at the residential building.
Fire reported in Russia’s Saratov
A Ukrainian drone attack caused a fire at a logistics center belonging to e-commerce company “Ozon” in Russia’s Saratov, the company said. It added that no one was injured in the incident.
Saratov Region Governor Roman Busargin said civilian infrastructure had been damaged in the drone attack, but no injuries had been reported. Russia’s independent “ASTRA” outlet, citing an analysis of videos, reported that a fire had also broken out at an oil refinery owned by state energy company “Rosneft” in Saratov. The report has not been confirmed by official authorities.
Ukraine’s border service reports destruction of military equipment
Ukraine’s State Border Guard Service said Ukrainian forces had destroyed a range of military equipment and facilities, including an armored fighting vehicle, trucks and cars, a motorcycle, ammunition and fuel depots, communications equipment and enemy shelters.
According to information released by the service, the destroyed equipment also included BM-21 “Grad” multiple-launch rocket systems and a mortar.
