Biography
Sanan Nizami oglu Tapdigov was born in 1978 in Baku. He holds a PhD in Law.
He has worked as Head of the Corporate Governance Sector at the Ministry of Economic Development, Deputy Head of the Strategic Development Department at SOCAR's Head Office, Head of the Legal Department at the Oil and Gas Processing and Petrochemical Complex, and Head of the Secretariat of the State Commission for WTO Accession. He has been a member of the Supervisory Boards of Baku Electric Network and Sumgayit Electric Network OJSCs, and a member of the Board of Directors of the SOCAR-Foster Wheeler joint venture. Since July 2018, he has served as Deputy Head of the Intellectual Property Agency's Office.
On 18 February 2019, he was appointed a member of the Board of the Intellectual Property Agency by an order of the Cabinet of Ministers. He is the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Patent and Trademark Examination Center under the Agency.
