Biography
Natig Arziman oglu Amirov is Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan – Head of the Department for Economic Policy and Industrial Affairs. He was born in 1967 in Davachi District.
In 1990–2000, he held various positions in the tax authorities in Sumgayit; in 2000–2001, he was Deputy Head of the Tax Department of Baku’s Sabail District; in 2001–2003, Deputy Head of the Department for Large Taxpayers of the Ministry of Taxes; and in 2003–2005, Head of the Department for Economic Analysis and Organization of Accounting of the Ministry. On August 16, 2005, he was appointed Deputy Minister of Taxes, and on March 4, 2009, First Deputy Minister of Taxes. On January 25, 2016, he was appointed Assistant to the President.
