Biography
Mushfig Aliyev has been Deputy Chief Executive Officer for Mobile Business at Azerconnect Group since June 2026. Previously, he held the positions of Chief Commercial Officer and Chief Marketing Officer at the company.
He has worked in senior positions for more than 15 years in the commercial, marketing, sales and strategic planning areas in the telecommunications, information technology, oil and gas, and public sectors; 7 of those years were spent at the Swedish company “Telia”.
He is a manager specializing in assessment at the International Assessment Organization. He has taught courses on the application of “Game Theory” in business at Azerbaijani universities. In 2010, his book entitled “Local Financing” was published. By Order of President Ilham Aliyev dated 5 December 2024, he was awarded the “Progress” Medal for his activities in the field of communications and information technology.
