Idris Balakishi oglu Isayev

Born in Baku in 1970.

In 1992–1993, he worked as an economist-accountant at “İnkişaf” Joint-Stock Commercial Bank, and in 1993–2005 held various positions at the Ministry of Finance, including economist and deputy head of department. From January 24, 2005, he was head of the Finance and Budget Department of the Apparatus of the State Social Protection Fund, and from October 31, 2013, he served as head of the State Labour Inspection Service under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population.

By Order No. 279 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated February 20, 2014, he was appointed Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Protection of the Population, and by Order No. 688 dated November 14, 2018, he was appointed Deputy Minister of Education.

In 1987–1992, he studied full-time at the Faculty of Finance and Credit of the Azerbaijan Institute of National Economy named after D. Bunyadzade and graduated with honours. In 2002–2005, he received a master's degree in Business Administration under the MBA programme jointly organized by the Azerbaijan State Oil Academy and Georgia State University of the United States.
