Biography
David Alimbarashvili has more than 20 years of experience in banking and finance, including 12 years in senior positions, among them as an executive manager at banks and fintech companies.
From 2006 to 2022, he held senior positions at BTA Bank and Halyk Bank, major financial institutions in the region, and served as Chief Operating Officer of Equfin Holding for several years. He has worked in Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Ukraine and Spain, and carried out short-term projects in the Balkans and Central Asia. Before joining AccessBank, he was Deputy Chief Risk Officer and a member of the Management Board at Liberty Bank Georgia.
He is currently a member of the Management Board and Chief Risk Officer of AccessBank OJSC. He speaks Georgian, Russian and English.
