The Media Center for the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13), scheduled to take place in Baku, is fully prepared to accommodate 400 media representatives simultaneously.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that President Ilham Aliyev was informed about the extensive preparations while reviewing the work carried out at the Baku Olympic Stadium for WUF13.
The facility, which covers an area of two hectares, houses the Media Center alongside dedicated zones for round tables, special sessions, and dialogue halls. The Media Center itself includes specialized workspaces, live broadcast and interview rooms, a press conference hall, TV studios, and a media lounge. While the center has a total capacity of 600 people, it is specifically designed to allow 400 media professionals to work concurrently.
WUF13 is scheduled to be held in Baku from May 17 to 22. The forum is organized through close cooperation between Azerbaijan and the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat), focusing on international knowledge exchange regarding sustainable urban planning, "smart cities," and innovative urban solutions. The hosting of this event reflects Azerbaijan's commitment to global urban development and its capacity to host major international summits.
