US President Donald Trump has outlined three potential strategic options regarding Iran, citing the continuation of negotiations, a significant escalation of military pressure, or the intensification of economic sanctions.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports, citing international media, that the US administration is weighing its next steps concerning Tehran.

Characterizing Iranian officials as difficult negotiators, President Trump alleged that previous agreements reached between the parties were subsequently rejected by Iranian officials in public. He emphasized that the US maintains three distinct paths: maintaining the current diplomatic pressure, significantly increasing the scale of military operations, or further tightening economic sanctions.

The US President claimed that the Iranian economy is currently in a precarious state, citing hyperinflation and the significant devaluation of the national currency. Trump asserted that the United States maintains control over key aspects of Iran's financial resources, noting that economic pressure remains a central pillar of Washington's policy toward Tehran.

Furthermore, President Trump claimed credit for preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons. "If I had not done this, they would have nuclear weapons right now, and you would have to address them as 'sir'," Trump remarked.

The US-Iran relationship has been characterized by decades of tension, particularly regarding Iran's nuclear program and regional influence. The Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), signed in 2015, was intended to limit Iran's nuclear capabilities in exchange for sanctions relief, though the agreement has faced significant scrutiny and shifts in policy from successive US administrations.
