A recent survey conducted in the United States indicates that only 33 percent of Americans approve of the performance of US President Donald Trump. The findings suggest a challenging political climate for the administration as it navigates complex domestic and international issues.

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, which cited international media reports, the study surveyed 1,589 respondents aged 18 and older to gauge public sentiment regarding the president's tenure. While 33 percent of participants expressed support for US President Donald Trump's actions, 62 percent stated they disapproved of his performance.

The data reveals a stark partisan divide in public opinion. Among Republican voters, the approval rating for the president stands at 79 percent, whereas only 4 percent of Democratic voters expressed approval. Political analysts suggest that the administration's current approach to economic policies and foreign relations, particularly regarding Iran, has contributed to this polarization. This trend is consistent with previous data from Quinnipiac University, which recorded similar approval levels in late July, underscoring the persistent difficulty in bridging the gap between opposing voter bases in the current US political landscape.
