Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is expected to visit Poland on June 25-26, according to reports.

As reported by Operative Information Center-OMM, citing the Polish newspaper Rzeczpospolita, the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs received an official note from Kyiv regarding the visit on June 16.

The Ukrainian leader is scheduled to participate in an international conference in the Polish city of Gdansk, which will be dedicated to the reconstruction of Ukraine. This visit comes against the backdrop of recent diplomatic friction between Ukraine and Poland, particularly following disagreements over historical memory issues, including the naming of a Ukrainian military unit after figures associated with the UPA.

While the potential for the visit had been in question due to these bilateral tensions, recent reports confirm President Zelensky's intention to attend the event. Poland has been a staunch supporter of Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale conflict, serving as a key logistical hub for international aid and a primary destination for Ukrainian refugees, though historical disputes occasionally complicate the strategic partnership between the two nations.
