Two people were injured and three residential buildings and seven vehicles were damaged in southern Saudi Arabia after debris fell from two ballistic missiles fired by Yemen’s Houthi group, Saudi authorities said on Sunday, according to Anadolu Agency.
Civil Defense teams responded to falling debris in Khamis Mushait and Ahad Rafidah governorates after the missiles were intercepted and destroyed, a Civil Defense spokesperson said in a statement carried by the official Saudi Press Agency.
The injured were a Saudi citizen and an Asian resident, the spokesperson said. The Houthi group did not immediately comment.
Earlier on Sunday, the Saudi-led coalition supporting Yemen’s internationally recognized government said it had intercepted and destroyed 12 missiles and two drones launched by the Houthis toward Saudi Arabia.
