Cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Azerbaijan is set to expand across all key sectors, reflecting the deepening ties between the two nations.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, this statement was made by the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, during a joint press statement following his meeting with President Ilham Aliyev.
President Berdimuhamedov emphasized that the strengthening of bilateral relations aligns with the long-term interests of both countries and their respective peoples, underscoring the strategic nature of the partnership.
Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan, both located in the Caspian region, share deep historical, cultural, and linguistic ties. In recent years, the two nations have significantly enhanced their cooperation, particularly in the energy and transport sectors.
