US President Donald Trump's special envoy Steve Witkoff and his son-in-law, businessman Jared Kushner, have departed for the United States from Rzeszów Airport in Poland following their diplomatic mission to Ukraine.

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, citing reports from the TASS news agency, the special aircraft carrying the delegation took off at 08:04 local time.

A notable aspect of this diplomatic mission was the delegation's use of a government-owned Boeing C-32A aircraft, rather than a private business jet, for their travel to Russia and Ukraine. Analysts interpret this decision as a clear signal of the official status of the visit and the high strategic importance placed on the ongoing negotiations.

During the trip, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner held high-level meetings in both Moscow and Kyiv. Following the conclusion of the talks, the US President's special envoy characterized the discussions as substantive and productive.

This mission comes as the new US administration intensifies its diplomatic efforts regarding the ongoing conflict in Eastern Europe. The use of high-level envoys like Witkoff and Kushner underscores the priority US President Donald Trump has placed on direct engagement with regional stakeholders to address the geopolitical challenges currently facing the international community.
