SWIFT: Beynəlxalq köçürmələrə yeni sistem

The Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (SWIFT) is introducing new services designed to eliminate errors in international money transfers. The initiative aims to streamline cross-border financial operations and improve the overall reliability of the global banking network.

According to "Operative Information Center-OMM", this announcement was made by Irina Lorer, SWIFT's Country Manager for CIS countries and the Caucasus region, during the 10th International Finance and Banking Summit held in Baku.

Lorer emphasized that the organization is rolling out new solutions to prevent errors and payment rejections during international transfers. "The organization's pre-validation service allows for the verification of payment data in advance. This service confirms the accuracy of account information and prevents potential payment rejections. These solutions make the payment process simpler and more reliable for both banks and customers," she stated.

She further noted that client expectations are evolving, with customers demanding more seamless international payment experiences. Currently, only 50% of bank customers are satisfied with the international payment process, often citing a desire for automated data entry and reduced error risks. Consequently, SWIFT has begun integrating various digital services directly into banks' mobile applications to enhance user experience.

SWIFT, headquartered in Belgium, serves as the primary messaging network for financial institutions worldwide. By providing a secure and standardized platform, it facilitates trillions of dollars in transactions daily, playing a critical role in the stability and connectivity of the global financial system.
