A robbery incident has occurred in the Khazar district of Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) reported to the Operative Information Center-OMM that an unidentified individual used force against a victim to seize their mobile phone before fleeing the scene.
Following the report, law enforcement officers launched an investigation and conducted operational search measures. As a result, 47-year-old V. Aliyev, suspected of committing the crime, was identified and subsequently detained by police.
The investigation into the incident is currently ongoing. In Azerbaijan, robbery is classified as a serious criminal offense under the Criminal Code, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs maintains strict protocols for responding to such street crimes to ensure public safety in the capital and across the country.
