Whether people diagnosed with sinus tachycardia are considered fit for military service depends on the functional state of the cardiovascular system and the severity of the condition.

“Operative Information Center-OMM” reports that the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription said this.

It said medical assessments of conscripts with circulatory system diseases are conducted in accordance with the requirements of Articles 39–42 and 44, column I, of the “Schedule of Diseases” in the Regulation on Military Medical Examination, approved by Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 59 of February 29, 2008. The degree of functional impairment is taken into account.

Conscripts undergo medical examinations by the military medical commissions of the regional (city) main departments, departments, divisions or units of the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription where they are registered.

When necessary, they are referred for additional examinations at public medical institutions. Decisions on fitness for military service are made in accordance with the requirements of the relevant Regulation.
