AFFA’s Disciplinary Committee has handed Sabayil president Mirza Bayrampur a four-match ban and fined the club 3,000 manats.
“Operative Information Center-OMM” reports that the decision followed the First League’s sixth-round match between Shahdag Gusar and Sabayil, after the club’s head entered the corridor, insulted the referees and threatened them.
Sabayil was also fined 600 manats after its supporters threw an object onto the pitch in the 85th minute.
The club received a further fine of 1,500 manats after Sabayil supporters collectively shouted abusive remarks at the referees following the match.
Sabayil player Rubin Seyidov was also handed a four-match ban for entering the corridor and insulting and threatening the referees. The club will pay an additional 3,000-manat fine over the incident.
