Sabail sign Sərtan Taşkın on a one-year deal with option

The Baku club has signed the former Azerbaijan international defender as it prepares for the 2026/2027 season.

Sabail have signed a new player as they continue preparations for the 2026/2027 season. The Baku club have agreed a deal with Sərtan Taşkın.

The defender, who has also represented Azerbaijan, has signed a one-year contract with an option for a further year. The 28-year-old most recently played for Turkish club Serik Spor.

Taşkın has played for Keşlə, Sumgait, Zirə and Turan Tovuz during his career. He has also represented Manisa in Turkey.

The defender has made 193 appearances in the Azerbaijan Premier League, scoring 13 goals. Sabail have signed Taşkın as they look to strengthen their squad ahead of the new season.
