The exact date of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s planned official visit to the Russian Federation has not yet been set, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov told RIA Novosti.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the Kremlin spokesman said arrangements for the visit were continuing through diplomatic channels, adding: “There are no exact dates yet.”
Russian President Vladimir Putin previously held bilateral talks with Pashinyan on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit in Bishkek. Following the meeting, Putin said he had invited the Armenian prime minister to Moscow to discuss bilateral cooperation in detail, including both conceptual and practical issues.
On October 7, Pashinyan called his Russian counterpart to congratulate him on his birthday. The two sides also reviewed the current agenda of Armenia-Russia relations.
