Tajikistan is ready to provide comprehensive support to Azerbaijan during its chairmanship of the Consultative Meetings of the Heads of State of Central Asia and Azerbaijan (C6) format.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that Tajik President Emomali Rahmon made the statement at the eighth Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia and Azerbaijan in Avaza.
“I would like to congratulate you on Azerbaijan assuming the chairmanship and wish you success. We will provide comprehensive support in organizing the work during your chairmanship,” Rahmon said, addressing Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
The C6 format brings together the leaders of Azerbaijan and the five Central Asian countries for consultations on regional cooperation. Azerbaijan’s chairmanship is intended to support dialogue and coordination among participating states.
